To place an order with the proprietor of the Adler Museum, follow these
steps:
1/ Locate the parts required from the Museum parts catalog. You will find a
German/English Dictionary of considerable assistance!
It is said that the quality of his rubber parts is better than others.
2/ Make a note of the one, two, or three digit part number on the order form.
Notice that his part number is the same as the Adler Parts Manual
Illustration number. Use the German description where possible.
A blank order form is shown below. Print a copy and use it.
3/ Take a note of the price from the price list.
Be aware that the European Euro is worth about A$2.00
4/ An alternative is to make a list in English of the parts required with his
one, two, or three digit part number and description (see example below).
Use the Adler 6 digit part number from the Adler Parts Catalog with the
description of the part. Be sure to include your Name, Address, Phone No.,
and, if possible, Fax number. Use of a Fax speeds the entire process.
5/ Fax (or Mail) the order to the Adler Museum. His Fax number is:
0015 49 2254 829 41.
In due course, you will recieve a confirmation of the available parts
to be sent and possibly the parts not available. He will include the
amount you owe. He doesn't have Credit Card facitities, so,
6a/ Either, obtain a Draft Cheque from your bank in Euros to pay for
the order and shipping, and mail it to Jurgen, (this costs around A$15
but is slow),
6b/ Or, have your bank do a Telegraphic Transfer of your payment to Jurgen
(this happens overnight but costs around A$30).
7/ If the order total amount (including shipping etc) is less than A$1000,
several weeks later the parts are delivered by Australia Post. If the
order is greater than A$1000, Customs will contact you with a bill for
Import Duty and GST calculated on the gross amount.
It's much better to place multiple orders!
